My drawing skills have "evolved" so to speak. From dragonball inspired spiky hairs to realistic life drawings. But, one thing i am not sure is to where i stand in the world with my skills. It might not be top-notch, but i am still curious as to where i am at. There's a competition that's due in less than 24 days. www.cmykmag.com/contests
It's a pretty good opportunity to test my skills with an international standard. But, i really do not have any confidence yet in my illustrations. This is because the entry fee is a whopping 45 USD. Converted to RM, it is around 136. That's a huge bite off my wallet, and if i win, i get nothing except getting my drawings in the magazine (and bragging rights). Here's the first, unfinished piece that i want to enter with.
It's still an unfinished drawing, but hey, i'm desperate for feedback. What'dya think? I'm gonna finish with ball-point pen shading and markers for background.

This is a new blog dedicated to my works. Been reading lots of books lately, novels actually, and just finished World of Warcraft: Lord of The Clans by Christie Golden. For that, i'm gonna start off by sharing a picture of a simple bookmark that i made.
